OPTIONS Memorial Scholarship

Purpose:
The purpose of the scholarship is to honor and remember the people who have shaped and impacted our lives during their time at Brehm or OPTIONS.

Terms and Conditions:
The OPTIONS Memorial Scholarship is a merit-based award. Students are eligible to receive the award after their first year in OPTIONS and who are enrolling for the upcoming year. The award will be $500.00 payable to Brehm Preparatory School towards the upcoming year’s tuition.

To Be Eligible:
Students should be making positive gains in the academic or vocational setting, evidenced by positive recommendations from staff. Criteria Staff Would Use for Nominating: Attitude: Student is goal-oriented, enthusiastic and respectful of persons and policies.

Academics or Vocation:
Student maintains at least a 3.0 average or a paid or internship experience. Character: Student performs random acts of kindness, maintains a friendly rapport with peers and faculty, and is a positive role model Program Participation: Student demonstrates leadership qualities during program hours, including Culinary Diversity Nights, Social Strategies, Advanced Living Skill, Extension Meetings, leisure activities, etc.

Community Service:
Student volunteers time and efforts to help others.

Nomination Forms are available and will be accepted by the Foundation Office until March 19 th . You can return the form to Erin Camfield at erin.camfield@brehm.org. The recipient of the award will be announced at the Spring, Brehm Parent Weekend.
