With your child’s unique learning needs, cutting-edge technology is a vital part of your child’s overall, integrated educational experience. This is why Brehm continually invests in new learning technologies and infrastructure to offer students total access to knowledge. In addition, Brehm’s technology instructor provide one-on-one and small group technology instruction through pull-outs and push-ins, which teaches students how to independently leverage technologies that help them meet learning challenges head on.

With our one-to-one program, each Brehm student is issued an Apple laptop computer loaded with a suite of the latest tools and assistive software to create works of art and rich multimedia presentations.

For students with dyslexia or other reading difficulties, digitized textbooks use Kurzweil 3000, and speech-to-text dictation to help students become independent learners. Math classes use science calculators, document cameras, Geogebra, and Geometer Sketchpad to support students’ needs.

Staying Connected on Campus

Our integrated student information system helps students, parents, and teachers track appointments, assignments, Individualized Holistic Education Plan, and holistic goals in Brehm’s transparent, 24/7 environment. They are given a school e-mail account that allows them to stay connected with family members, students, teachers, and friends. We’re equipped with a high capacity, fiber-optic network that powers our wireless campus and classrooms. Classrooms are equipped with projectors, displays, and other instructional technologies.
